Hi I am Sara Abdellatif Omer. I am a Senior Regional Leader in Supply Chain and Procurement Practice, and a Board member of the Global Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, I have more than 20 years of professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management and Digital Procurement.
I started my career as a Supply Assistant with UNICEF Sudan SCO then progressed to manufacturing and FMCG supply chain management. I then joined Jaggaer the global leading eProcurement provider back in 2010 in the UAE, and since then I have played a pivotal role in delivering value to regional organizations by leading them through their procurement and supply digital transformation journeys. My specialty lies within UAE Public sector and government owned companies.
I have recently joined the leading supply chain and procurement technology provider (Ivalua) at the capacity of the company’s Account Director for the Middle East region. I am an active member of the CIPS MENA branches network, MCIPS qualified, a fellow of CIPS, and I hold a bachelor degree in Chemical engineering, I am an award winner of CIPS prize upon graduation in 2007 and I am a mother of three children. I am very interactive with the regional procurement community on LinkedIn, and use the platform to connect with likeminded professionals, I am always the one to offer advice and support to professionals developing and progressing through their career.
