Hi my name is Magdy Shahir Abdel-Sayed, I am 28 years old and graduated from the American University in Cairo with a Communication and Media Arts major in February 2015. I am currently employed as the Student Life Director at the Royal British International School in Cairo, Egypt. I am also an Ambassador to Helm Foundation, a foundation which aims at the integration of people with disabilities in the Egyptian society. In addition, I am a motivational speaker and was named as one of AUC’s most influential Alumni of the Century. Furthermore, I was born with a disability called Cerebral Palsy and I am the recipient of the Cambridge Award for Egyptian student who overcame the most to achieve his goals in 2008.
