Hi I am Heba Sayed. I am the Head of Marketing for IBM Watson Customer Engagement in Middle East & Africa. In my capacity, I lead the strategy, marketing and communications activities that encourage regional brands to adopt AI in their customer engagement strategy. Prior to this role, I have led a number of marketing leadership roles at IBM in Egypt and the UAE.
I believe I have a cool job, that sits right at the intersection of marketing and technology, and I am excited about the rising focus on customer centricity in the Middle East and Africa. I am also a public speaker on the future of marketing and AI technology and have spoken in the region’s most renowned conferences like Arab Luxury Summit, DubaiLynx Festival of Creativity, Mashable Social Media Day, Watson Summit, ArabNet Digital Summit, MICE Luxury Travel summit amongst many others.
In 2017, Gulf Marketing Review, the leading marketing publications in the Middle East, selected me as one of top 40-under-40 marketers in Middle East and North Africa region, in recognition of the role I have played as an active change agent in the world of technology regionally.
I hold a bachelor’s in business administration, with concentration in Marketing, from the American University in Cairo.
